Lantern Roof designed by Meltedsnow Architects

HEADLINE DETAILS

PROJECT: LANTERN ROOF, BALLSBRIDGE, DUBLIN
DATE: AUGUST 2015
WORK: GARDEN ROOM INCORPORATING PARAPET COPING AND DECORATIVE ROLL TRIM
ARCHITECT: MELTEDSNOW, DUBLIN
CONSTRUCTION: INEXWORK, DUBLIN

P Q Fibreglassing were very happy to be involved with this unusual and intricately designed extension, drawn up by regular client MeltedSnow Architects' Jim Lawler MRIAI.

INEXWorks' Ivan Dugan and his team were responsible for the construction work on this extension in Ballsbridge, Dublin; designed to maximise natural light drawn in by the impressive lantern roof light pictured above.

Dryseal H 4030 R decorative roll trim was used to achieve a near identical look to that of a lead covered roof - though at much lower cost than lead. Intricate detailing applied to the roof and material resulted in a stylish finish together with cost savings on the parapet encapsulation negating any need for a separate, costly coping. Another happy client with a 20 year guaranteed waterproof Dryseal roof.

We regularly work with MeltedSnow Architects and INEXWorks, producing first class innovative results with value engineered cost savings applied wherever possible.
